Founder & Lead Physical Therapist 

Dr. Jaime Davey, B.S. DPT

Dr. Jaime Davey is the passionate founder and lead physical therapist behind Prime PT Specialists, a patient-centered physical therapy practice in Commerce Township, Michigan. With over two decades of hands-on experience in rehabilitation and wellness, Jaime has dedicated her career to helping individuals of all ages recover from injury, manage pain, and regain full, active lives.

Jaime’s journey in physical therapy began with a deep desire to make therapeutic care personal, compassionate, and effective. After earning her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and refining her clinical expertise through roles in leadership and clinical operations, she brought her vision to life by opening Prime PT Specialists — where individualized treatment and genuine patient connection come first.

As a clinician, Jaime blends extensive clinical knowledge with a holistic approach, tailoring recovery plans that address the root causes of pain and mobility challenges. Her leadership ensures that every patient receives focused attention, evidence-based care, and encouragement throughout their rehabilitation journey. Jaime’s emphasis on authentic relationships and therapeutic excellence reflects her belief that healing is rooted not only in physical progress but in trust and collaboration.

Jaime continues to be a respected voice in the local health community, known for her expertise, empathy, and commitment to helping people move better and live well.

Physical Therapy Assistant

Dan Jessop

Dan Jessop, PTA is a Physical Therapy Assistant specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation, with a particular focus on overhead throwing athletes. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 2018 and completed his Physical Therapist Assistant degree at Mott Community College in 2020.

Dan is passionate about helping patients return to peak performance through evidence-based care and individualized treatment plans. His experience with orthopedic conditions allows him to effectively support athletes and active individuals through recovery and injury prevention.

Outside of the clinic, Dan enjoys spending time with his family and can usually be found watching football or volleyball on the weekends.

Paige 

Meet Paige, one of our amazing Physical Therapy Technicians. With over 7 years of orthopedic experience. Passionate about health, she plans to her PTA degree and loves helping patients recover with Thai stretching techniques. Be sure to find out more about her stretching here! You may know her better as Echo's mom! In her free time, Paige enjoys her two German Shepherds and bowling in two leagues. We're proud to have her on our team!

Michele

Meet Michele, our dedicated Office Manager.  With a B.S.B.A in Management Information Systems from Michigan Technological University and an MBA from Lawrence Technological University, Michele ensures that our office operates seamlessly for both business and patient needs. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, doing puzzles, and lifting weights, reflecting her true passion for fitness and wellness.

Physical Therapist

Alison Hennessy, DPT

Alison's passion for physical therapy began at a young age after spending years as a patient. Those experiences inspired her to pursue a career dedicated to helping others reduce pain, restore confidence, and return to the activities they enjoy most.
She earned her Bachelor's degree in Biomedical and Molecular Nutrition from Michigan State University in 2020 before working as a physical therapy technician at Prime PT Specialists alongside Jaime from 2020 to 2021. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Oakland University in 2024.
Growing up, she participated in competitive swimming, soccer, softball, field hockey, and tennis, which gave her a lifelong appreciation for movement, injury recovery, and athletic performance. She enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions, chronic pain, and post-surgical patients, with a special interest in working with individuals with Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder.
Outside the clinic, Alison enjoys running, Pilates, yoga, strength training, pickleball, golf, reading, and traveling. She believes that patient education and individualized, evidence-based care are the foundation of successful rehabilitation. Her goal is to empower each patient to better understand their condition, improve their strength and mobility, build confidence, and achieve their personal goals. She is excited to be part of the Prime PT Specialists team and look forward to helping our patients move and feel their best.

Physical Therapy Assistant & Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Sue Anton, PTA & OTA

Sue Anton is a Physical Therapy Assistant and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who graduated from Mott Community College in 2013. She brings a well-rounded, movement-focused approach to patient care, blending rehabilitation with fitness and functional training.

Sue holds certifications in STOTT Pilates, group fitness instruction, RockTape kinesiology taping, and Barwis Methods. She also has extensive experience treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions. Her diverse background allows her to design individualized programs that improve strength, mobility, and overall performance while supporting long-term recovery and injury prevention.

In her spare time, Sue enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and her five (soon to be six!) grandchildren. She also loves line dancing and spending time on the water.

Dakota 

Meet Dakota, an aspiring physical therapy student with a background in semi-pro hockey. With a passion for sports Dakota actively coaches youth developmental hockey, sharing knowledge and skills with the next generation. Driven by a desire to help others, Dakota is excited to embark this journey toward a fulfilling career in physical therapy.
